The star company unveils its new 2024 AMG GT in a spectacular video, with Wolff, Russell, and Hamilton watching.
In an always extraordinary commercial, Mercedes-AMG unveiled its brand new AMG GT 63 4MATIC+. During the less than two-minute video, well-known faces of Formula 1 fans are visible: Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, and Toto Wolff are all present to discover the new toy from the German brand.
Powered by a noisy 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and boasting 577 horsepower, the racing car starts under covers before heading towards a circular aerial track. The car completes numerous laps in front of the astonished faces and wide-open eyes of the privileged few in attendance. Among these individuals, we can respectively see Toto Wolff, George Russell, and then Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion is highlighted compared to his teammate and team boss, with a sort of interview where he is amazed by what he sees.
