Charles Leclerc signs new multi-season contract with Scuderia Ferrari
Scuderia Ferrari has officially announced the extension of the Monegasque driver's contract. Charles Leclerc will remain in red for several more seasons.
Charles Leclerc poursuit his adventure with his heart’s team. Linked to Scuderia Ferrari since forever, the Monégasque has signed a new contract extension with the Prancing Horse stable. Without giving details about a contract end year, Scuderia announces an extension for multiple seasons for their flagship driver, who has secured five victories in red.
The Monégasque expressed himself after the announcement of the contract extension. « I am very happy to know that I will be wearing the Scuderia Ferrari race suit for several more seasons to come. »

« This team has been my second family since I joined the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2016, and we have achieved a lot together, fighting together in the good and bad times over the past five years, » he added.
« However, I believe the best is yet to come, and I look forward to the start of this season to further progress and be competitive in every race. My dream remains to win the World Championship with Ferrari, and I am confident that in the years to come, we will experience exceptional moments together and make our fans happy, » said the 26-year-old driver.
Frédéric Vasseur, his boss at Ferrari and mentor for many years, was delighted to extend his driver. « Charles’s connection with Scuderia goes beyond that of just a driver and a team, as he has been part of the Ferrari family for eight years now, dating back to a time before his first appearance with the Prancing Horse emblem on his race suit, » said the Scuderia’s team principal.
« His values and those of our team are common, which is why it was natural for us to agree on extending our collaboration […] We are committed to providing Charles with a winning car, and I know that his determination and commitment are elements that can make the difference in helping us achieve our goals, » Vasseur concluded.
