Aston Martin presents its new single-seater, the AMR24
The British team is the seventh to unveil its colors for the 2024 season. But it has mainly presented its actual race car, which will hit the track today at Silverstone.

Aston Martin has unveiled its future single-seater for the 2024 season, the AMR24, in a short video posted on its social media platforms. The upcoming car for Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll essentially maintains the same livery as its predecessor, with a few additional carbon touches.
The AMR24 is the very first single-seater fully built in the AMRTC, the Aston Martin Racing Technology Campus, and the British team announces a car that has evolved according to the same design philosophy but has become lighter, more aerodynamically efficient, and designed to operate on more tracks.
« We are proud to present the AMR24, stated Mike Krack, Aston Martin’s team director. « This is the result of a colossal effort from the entire team on our new AMRTC and it will allow the team to take a new step in 2024. Since the last race in 2023, everyone has been intensely focused on improvements in all areas, concentrating our efforts on what truly makes a difference, on what truly matters to be better.
Almost all aspects of the car have been refined and improved, capitalizing on our strengths and taking into account the lessons learned from the previous campaign. 2023 was our best season to date and our goal this season is to consistently score points, reach the podium, and fight for our first green victory, he added.
Aston Martin, which surprised everyone last season with a remarkable start, hopes to learn from a more challenging end of the season. The two drivers from the Silverstone team presented their new race car with confidence.
« There was a real buzz around the AMRTC this winter. We are still a young team, but we are growing rapidly,” said Lance Stroll. « We all want to progress from what we achieved last year, especially in the latter part of the season where we made good progress, learning more about the car. I think this prepares us well for the new season and I am looking forward to getting started.”
Fernando Alonso continued: “I am incredibly proud of this team and what has been achieved in such a short time. Not only the progress on the track, but also the investment in all areas off the track. I always appreciate this feeling at the beginning of a new campaign, this season marking my 21st year as a Formula 1 race driver.”
The whole team has worked tirelessly to prepare the AMR24 for the new season, but there are so many questions to answer during testing and the first races. I can’t wait to get in the cockpit and start my second season in green, concluded the 42-year-old Spanish driver.
The new AMR24 will take to the track today, for its first test run, at the Silverstone circuit.
