Visa Cash App RB shakedown at Misano
With the 2024 season not due to start until March 2 in Bahrain, Visa Cash App RB has just completed the first run of its single-seater on the Misano track, 83 kilometers as the crow flies from the team's Faenza headquarters.
Visa Cash App RB presented its single-seater on February 9th. The team based in Faenza completely changed its identity after four seasons under the name AlphaTauri. The livery of this VCARB 01 however features the metallic blue from Toro Rosso between 2017 and 2019.
While the season will not start until March 2nd at the Bahrain Grand Prix, the car has already completed its first laps this week at the Misano circuit, about 83 kilometers from Faenza, the team’s headquarters.

Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda have been renewed for the 2024 season, but both of them are at the end of their contracts at the end of this year. They have been joined by Laurent Mekies, who has become their new Executive Director, replacing Franz Tost, who retired.
It is unlikely that both drivers will remain with the Italian team in 2025, Ricciardo appears to be the favorite to replace Sergio Perez at Red Bull if the Mexican continues to disappoint. However, Tsunoda could also secure a seat with the Austrian team if he has a strong season. Let’s not forget about rookies like Liam Lawson or Isack Hadjar who could join Red Bull’s B team next year.
