Red flag in Bahrain: Testing halted on Day 3
Pre-season testing was interrupted on the third and final day of winter testing at Sakhir, on the island of Bahrain. The reason is the same as yesterday: a water evacuation plate has come loose from the vibrators.
The practice session is interrupted in Bahrain. Sergio Perez ran wide over the kerb at turn 11 and dislodged a water drainage cover in the process. The cover remained on the side without causing significant damage to the underfloor of the Red Bull.
However, just like yesterday, the circuit stopped the session in order to allow repairs to be made due to the danger for the drivers.
