Official: Yuki Tsunoda extends contract with Racing Bulls
Helmut Marko had already released the information, it is now official, Yuki Tsunoda will still be a Racing Bulls driver next season.
The master of sensational statements had not waited to ensure that Yuki Tsunoda would stay at Racing Bulls in 2025. A few hours later, the team officially announced it in a press release.
The young Japanese driver, showing good consistency in this first half of the season, finished in the points in five of the last eight races. His best results are two seventh places in Australia and Miami.
« It is a good feeling to decide the course of things for me so quickly in the year. The team has a big development project ahead of it, and I am excited to be a part of it. It is pleasant to know that everyone appreciates my work and that the team believes I can help move forward on the grid,” he declares in a statement released by the team.
« The step forward he has taken this season is simply phenomenal, and he continues to surprise us all, race after race,” added team principal Laurent Mekies.
