The beautiful story of Le Mans: Jota resurrects his Porsche
Even before the start of the 92nd Le Mans 24 Hours, a human adventure was written: the Jota team could not have rebuilt its Porsche 963 in time...and it did!

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is much more than just a car race: it is a perpetual epic, with many stories in one. In this case, everyone held their breath for the Jota team, whose Porsche No. 12 crashed during free practice 2, after qualifying.
The chassis was, so to speak, well bent: the English team had to avoid tempting fate and rebuilt the 963 driven by Callum Illott, Will Stevens, and Norman Nato.
As the N°38 continued on its way, the other car had to skip free practice 3 and Hyperpole on Wednesday. This short driving time did not dampen the motivation of the mechanics, who were busy working on this 963 with the chassis exposed.
Then, at the end of the Friday, the car finished being assembled. It only remained to validate this during an exceptional shakedown, granted by the ACO. The airfield near the circuit was the scene and the tests were conclusive: Jota No.12 will indeed be at the start.
This work, under normal circumstances, would have taken weeks, whereas it was completed in just two days. So, there will be 23 Hypercars fighting for the lead at 4 p.m.
