You cannot watch Formula 1 with your Canal+ decoder? Don’t panic, it is not directly related to Canal+ but to the providers of Formula 1 images. Liberty Media uses software that is currently down. The broadcasts sent to hosts equipped with a Windows interface are causing problems and no more broadcasts are possible via the decoder.

The digital interface is working.

If you are using Canal+ from the website and your computer or phone, the streaming should work fine.

A global breakdown where all services are affected.

The issue faced by Microsoft and Crowdstrike, an antivirus software, has impacted the services of many activities ranging from airports to the administrative services of many large companies.

Crowdstrike’s President, George Kurtz, explained that his team is working with Microsoft to resolve the issue: « CrowdStrike is actively working with clients affected by a detected issue in a single content update for Windows hosts. Mac and Linux hosts are not impacted. This is not a security incident or a cyber attack. The problem has been identified, isolated, and a fix has been deployed. We refer clients to the support portal for the latest updates and will continue to provide comprehensive and ongoing updates on our website. We also recommend that organizations ensure they communicate with CrowdStrike representatives through official channels. Our team is fully mobilized to ensure the security and stability of CrowdStrike clients. »
