Red Bull fined for Verstappen’s speeding in the pit lane

Red Bull received a very (very) slight fine after Free Practice 1 of the Belgian Grand Prix on Friday. The reason: Max Verstappen was… 0.1 km/h too fast in the pit lane, at 80.1 km/h when the speed limit is 80 km/h.
This is a violation of Article 34.7 of the FIA Formula 1 Sporting Regulations, according to a statement from the governing body.
This violation resulted in a €100 fine for the Red Bull team, highlighting the importance for drivers to comply with the current safety regulations. The stewards emphasized that speed in the pit lane is strictly monitored to ensure the safety of all participants, especially during pit stops.
