Ferrari is the car that fears the weather the most
"Ferrari would suffer more from the wind than the others," says Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque driver believes that Scuderia Ferrari will be more competitive in Hungary.

Ferrari was struggling at Silverstone. The single-seaters of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finished 9th and 10th in the Grand Prix.
The Prancing Horse stable fails to perform when the wind picks up. « The car goes in the right direction, but as we saw in the last race at Silverstone, when the wind really picks up, we have one of our main weaknesses. Nevertheless, we have made some progress, » explains Charles Leclerc in a press conference. « The wind is an important factor, and for us, it has a great influence, probably more significant than for any other car on the grid, » adds the five-time Grand Prix winner.
The Ferrari driver was nevertheless aware that the cars would struggle on certain circuits. « We know where we are going to have difficulties and unfortunately, Silverstone was one of them, we knew it wouldn’t be a great weekend for us. Saturday went rather well, considering what we expected, but Sunday was worse than we expected, but we know why, » says the 25-year-old driver.
Hungary is a better track for Ferrari
The Monegasque driver believes that this Hungarian Grand Prix will allow for the full potential of the car to be developed. « On paper, the Hungaroring suits our car a bit more, but once again, every weekend, there seems to be a surprise from one team or another to fight behind the Red Bulls, so we will see if we will be competitive. »
The driver remains confident that his car will still improve.
« We made a big step forward at the end of the year, because it was much worse than that in 2022. I have no doubt that we will improve, but we need time for the parts and engineers to find the best way to solve the lack of efficiency. We have already seen positive steps in this direction, we just need to keep pushing, » he asserts.
