McLaren has been fined €5,000 by the FIA after team members rushed to the Parc Fermé following Oscar Piastri's victory at the Azerbaijan GP.

The McLaren team savored this Sunday in Baku its fourth victory of the season thanks to the triumph of Oscar Piastri in Azerbaijan. The members of the British team could not contain their joy at the moment of the Australian crossing the line, rushing to the Parc Fermé to celebrate their driver.
A hasty reaction, especially as other drivers were still circulating in the pit lane, which could have posed a danger to the “marshmallows”. The FIA issued a statement following this incident, stating that McLaren had been fined €5000.
« Although it is not unusual for team staff to move to the Parc Fermé area before the end of the race, McLaren had team members and equipment in the pit lane while other teams were still making their stops, creating a potentially dangerous situation, as stated in the press release.
