A return to Porsche considered by the Iron Dames in WEC
While the season is not completely over with the Lamborghini #85, the Iron Dames could switch back to Porsche next season. As is already the case in ELMS.

Sorry, we’ll put a song in your head. It goes away and it comes back… But given the circumstances, these few lyrics borrowed from our national Cloclo make perfect sense.
The Iron Dames could take a trip back in time by rediscovering a car they know inside out. And which allowed them to shine. According to information from our colleagues at Sportmotores, the female trio competing in the World Endurance Championship could return with a Porsche in 2025.
As a reminder, the team founded by Deborah Mayer has come under the Lamborghini umbrella, which supports the entity Iron Lynx, linked to the team Iron Dames. If the latter were to switch back to Porsche – as in 2023 – it would be through the team Manthey Racing, just crowned in GT3. In this case, Iron Lynx would continue to financially support Iron Dames.
The German manufacturer is well known to the Gatting/Bovy/Frey trio. It was with the RSR that the Belgian driver clinched pole position, last year in Bahrain, and then victory in the final round of the season. Also competing in ELMS, the Iron Ladies use a Porsche GT3 R entered by Proton Competition.
With this racing car, they imposed themselves at the 4 Hours of Imola and are fourth in the championship standings.
