The 10 teams will present their F1 2025 at the same time, on February 18th

Formula 1 has just announced a radical change in the way of presenting the new F1 cars. Usually at the teams' own discretion, in 2025, all Formula 1 cars will be presented on the same day, at the same place, live.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Formula 1, Liberty Media has decided to review the way in which teams present their new machine to compete in the championship. If usually, teams present their single-seater in the way they wanted, either via a live stream on the Internet, or during an event at the factory or elsewhere, now in 2025, they will have to mix with the others and do it all at the same time.

Thus, on February 18, 2025, all Formula 1 cars will be presented to the public at the same time, with the 20 championship drivers. The teams and Liberty Media will organize a public event with ticketed seating, from the O2 arena in London, England.

The first common event in the history of F1.

Usually, each team announces a date for the presentation of its new F1 car. If in the past, teams presented a F1 car ready for winter testing with their innovations, for several seasons now, many present a non-drivable F1 model, rather decorated with the sponsors of the new season. The stakes were no longer so technical but more marketing.

However, the February period was inherent to the presentation of liveries, sometimes with up to two different presentations on the same day. However, next year, all Formula 1 cars will be presented on the same day: February 18, 2025 from 9 pm to 11 pm.

During this exceptional evening, fans will be immersed in the dramatic and spectacular world of Formula 1, alongside the teams to discover the new liveries for 2025 and the drivers of the upcoming season. Throughout this interactive event, guests will also have the opportunity to attend interviews with iconic figures of this sport, including drivers and team managers, in addition to enjoying high-level entertainment and the presence of special guests,” explains Liberty Media in a statement.

A public presentation

For the past few years, some teams have been presenting their new single-seater in front of an audience. However, as Sauber or Aston Martin, the audience was often carefully selected, with a few media, journalists, and many staff or sponsors. These events were therefore very private.

In 2025, Formula 1 will give many fans the opportunity to attend the event among the 20,000 available seats for sale. By spending a minimum of 70€ for the furthest seats, up to 120€, you will be able to witness with your own eyes the first season-launching event in Formula 1 history.

Attention, the 20,000 tickets will be available from 11am on Friday, November 15th, via theo2.co.uk/F175live website. Please note the appointment as it will likely be quickly blocked.

Please note that the show will be broadcast at least on F1 TV and probably also on some national media outlets live. Canal+ will likely have to sign a special agreement with Liberty Media for this event.

« Fans unable to attend in person will still have the opportunity to follow the event live, with details of the broadcast and other information about the event expected in the coming weeks.

Brian Burke, who organized the opening ceremony of the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year, will also be at the helm of this event. It is an incredible honor to continue collaborating with Formula 1 to create new entertainment experiences, especially this unprecedented launch event for the 2025 season celebrating the sport’s 75th anniversary. Thanks to our collaboration with the ten teams, fans can be assured that we will offer a truly exciting live experience, combining the unveiling of new liveries, interviews with the biggest names in F1, and cutting-edge entertainment. This will be a unique event not to be missed!
