Tickets for the London F1 2025 presentation gone in 10 minutes
A dazzling but controversial success: in just 10 minutes, tickets for the launch of the 2025 Formula 1 season were snapped up. However, technical problems and price-gouging resales angered fans.

We had predicted it: you had to act quickly to reserve a spot at the launch of the 2025 Formula 1 season.
While the ticket office opened at 11:00 today, it only took a few minutes for the 20,000 available tickets to be sold out, proof of the huge enthusiasm of fans for this event.
However, several aspects of this sale have angered Formula 1 fans. Many have denounced difficulties in buying their tickets due to a faulty queue system. The website reportedly crashed several times, preventing many potential buyers from obtaining their valuable tickets.
Given that this was a first for F1, these technical problems could have been predictable, but for the fans, it remains unacceptable.
On social networks, complaints are multiplying: « The page didn’t let me in with my home Wi-Fi. », « I waited an hour in line to find out that all the tickets were already sold out. », « I managed to bypass the queue to buy tickets, but the site crashed and I couldn’t get anything. », or even « Did anyone actually manage to get a ticket for F1 75? », read one message.
Frustration was heightened when numerous resale tickets immediately appeared online, displaying exorbitant prices, sometimes up to €2,000. Far from the initial rates, ranging from €70 to €120, many fans expressed their dissatisfaction.
Always on social networks, F1 enthusiasts strongly criticized those who had bought several tickets solely to resell them at exorbitant prices. While the event was intended to be accessible to as many people as possible, this practice of buying and reselling tarnishes part of this initiative.
To top it all off, many “seats” offered on these resale sites are fictitious, and tickets that were not purchased directly through the official resale portal of the O2 Arena would be invalid.
A drawback that tarnishes the launch of the 2025 F1 season before it has even begun.
Be reassured: if you are the lucky owner of one of these tickets, the show promises to be memorable! For others, you can follow this event from your screens, as it will be broadcast live on several channels and most likely on Canal +.
