Q3: George Russell Secures Pole Position Ahead of Carlos Sainz Jr.

The Mercedes driver delivered the best lap time of 1:32.312, improving on last year’s mark. He narrowly beat Sainz’s Ferrari by 98 thousandths of a second. Pierre Gasly pulled off a surprising performance, securing third place and starting from the second row, alongside Charles Leclerc.

Max Verstappen qualified P5, just ahead of Lando Norris. The two title contenders will start on the same row.
