Live – Qatar Grand Prix: Follow the Sprint race live with commentary
The final sprint race of the 2024 season is taking place today at the Losail circuit. Follow it live.
Oscar Piastri wins this Sprint race ahead of Lando Norris. George Russell completes the podium. McLaren gets 15 points compared to 9 for Ferrari. The British team could be crowned tomorrow.
– 25min – Lando Norris lets his teammate pass him on the finish line. He offers him the victory!
– 20min – There are three laps left. Carlos Sainz is dangerously catching up to George Russell.
– 19min – Norris is asked to help his teammate. McLaren wants to secure as many points as possible.
– 18min – « It was too late. That’s twice! » George Russell complains about Oscar Piastri’s driving.
– 17min – Charles Leclerc attacks Lewis Hamilton in turns 4 and 5. After a slight contact, Leclerc overtakes. The Monegasque driver is now 5th.
– 15min – Guanyu Zhou is in the pits. He swaps his hard tires for mediums.
– 15 minutes – Norris is asked to speed up.
– 14min – At the halfway point, the podium remains unchanged. Carlos Sainz is 4th, followed by Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.

– 1min – Max Verstappen has fallen to 9th place. He is now chasing Pierre Gasly, who is in 8th place.
– 1min – At the first corner, Lando Norris retains his position. Oscar Piastri overtakes George Russell. The two McLarens are in the lead!
