Alpine will partner with Pramac in MotoGP from next season
According to Motorsport.com, Alpine will become one of the main sponsors of the Pramac Racing team in the upcoming MotoGP season.

After nearly 20 years of collaboration with Ducati, Pramac Racing is entering a historic turning point by joining Yamaha next season in MotoGP. The Italian team, crowned world champion of teams this year and of riders this year thanks to Jorge Martín, will offer Yamaha the opportunity to reconnect with a satellite team, absent for the past two years. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen Yamaha’s capabilities, as the brand strives to catch up with European manufacturers in terms of competitiveness. With four bikes on the track, the Japanese manufacturer will be able to intensify data collection and real-world testing, while providing increased support to its official riders, Fabio Quartararo and Álex Rins. The M1 bikes entrusted to Pramac will be ridden by Miguel Oliveira, a former Aprilia rider, and Jack Miller, who brings his experience with Ducati and arrives from KTM.
To support this ambitious project, Pramac has already extended its partnership with Prima, an Italian insurance company and longtime title sponsor, until the end of 2027. Still according to Motorsport.com, however, Prima will share this visibility space on the motorcycles from the next season with Alpine, the sports branch of Renault, which is already active in Formula 1 and WEC.

This is not the first time for Pramac Racing to display links with Formula 1. Paolo Campinoti, the team owner, maintains a close relationship with Stefano Domenicali, current CEO of the F1 championship for the past four years. In 2021, this closeness had already been shown by the presence of the F1 logo on the team’s Ducatis, then entrusted to Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco.
This time, the partnership between Pramac Racing and Alpine was also facilitated by Paolo Campinoti’s privileged relationships with Luca de Meo, CEO of Renault. De Meo’s keen interest in MotoGP also played a key role. Already involved in motorcycle Grand Prix when he was leading the brands Lancia, Fiat, Abarth and Alfa Romeo within the Fiat group, De Meo had initiated the sponsorship of the Yamaha factory team by Fiat between 2007 and 2010.
The official presentation of the 2025 livery of the Yamaha Pramac Racing team will take place at the beginning of next year. The first visuals of the bikes, sporting the colors of the new sponsors, could be unveiled as early as the collective tests organized in Sepang, Malaysia, from February 5 to 7. These tests will be preceded on February 3 by an official photo session orchestrated by Dorna, the promoter of MotoGP. A collective event marking the launch of the 2025 season is also planned for February 9 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the participation of all teams. This ceremony will be followed by a second pre-season test on February 12 and 13 in Buriram, before the start of the championship with the first Grand Prix, also organized in Buriram two weeks later.
