Emerson Fittipaldi at Magny-Cours for Classic Days
The two-time Formula 1 world champion is the guest of honor at the next edition of Classic Days. The event will be held in Magny-Cours on April 26 and 27.

To celebrate 75 years of Formula 1, we needed an immense figure in single-seater racing, announced the organizers of the Classic Days at Magny-Cours. And they managed to bring one: Emerson Fittipaldi.
The Brazilian won two world championship titles in 1972 and 1974. One with Lotus, the other with McLaren. « The Classic Days welcome one of the biggest figures in the history of Formula 1! »
His story, he also wrote with his last name. The Fittipaldi surname has always more or less resonated in Formula 1. In 1974, his brother founded Copersucar. A team that Emerson joined in 1976, during the most beautiful season in the history of the discipline.
After a brilliant career in the United States and two victories in the Indianapolis 500, the Brazilian won the IndyCar championship.
Once his racing career ended, he took on a managerial role in various teams. This part of his life is now behind him, but he remains very close to the Formula 1 paddocks. His grandson, Enzo, finished in fifteenth place in the Formula 2 championship in 2024.
