The award-winning Formula 1 exhibition will make its debut in South America, in Buenos Aires, making it the first city in the region to host this show. It is also the first stop of a larger South American tour.

Heading to Buenos Aires

In partnership with Fenix Entertainment, the cosmopolitan capital of Argentina will be the fifth city to host the F1 Exhibition, starting from March 22nd. After resounding successes in Madrid, Vienna, Toronto, and London – the latter having won the prestigious Best Visitor Experience award at the Access All Areas Awards – the Buenos Aires edition will be open to the public until June 1st.

It will feature exclusive contributions from legendary teams, iconic personalities, and famous South American drivers. Visitors will be able to discover F1 cars from different eras, rare artifacts, as well as never-before-seen videos. The exhibition also offers an immersive experience with F1 Fastest Lap racing simulators, allowing visitors to step into the shoes of a driver.

The journey begins with Once Upon a Time in Formula 1, a gallery blending rare photographs, historic cars, films, and artifacts that immerse fans in the most iconic moments in F1 history.

The Design Lab offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at an F1 factory, revealing how teams design and manufacture new cars each season. Then, Drivers & Duels celebrates the legendary drivers and races that have marked the discipline since 1950, in this year of F1’s 75th anniversary.

The section Fallen Heroes pays tribute to the drivers who tragically lost their lives in their quest for success, while Survival revisits Romain Grosjean’s 190 km/h crash at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, with a striking display of the remains of his HAAS car and exclusive interviews.

The exhibition reaches its climax with The Pit Wall, an immersive and cinematic experience allowing fans to relive the most memorable moments in F1 history like never before.

A strategic choice

This edition marks the first stage of a broader South American tour. South America has always held an important place in F1 history, with legendary champions such as Juan Manuel Fangio, Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet, and Emerson Fittipaldi.

Today, the Brazilian Grand Prix remains a favorite among drivers and fans, while the popularity of F1 continues to grow in the region, particularly thanks to the rise of Franco Colapinto (Argentina) and Gabriel Bortoleto (Brazil).

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of F1, stated: As we celebrate 75 years of Formula 1, it is more important than ever to acknowledge the history and heritage of this sport. Since its first edition in Madrid, the F1 Exhibition has been very successful in telling the story of F1, and we are thrilled for it to make its debut in South America, in Buenos Aires. The growing support from the region is impressive, and we look forward to fans celebrating the crucial role it has played in defining our sport.

Sebastián Bulgheroni, Global Commercial Director of Fenix Entertainment, added: « It is a true privilege to be the promoters of the F1 Exhibition in South America. We know how much motorsport enthusiasts in Latin America love it, especially Formula 1, and we are thrilled to offer Argentine fans an unprecedented experience. This tour will start in Buenos Aires before continuing in other countries in the region to satisfy the immense F1 fan base. »
