Aston Martin Aramco has signed a multi-year partnership with Atlas Air, a company specializing in air logistics. This contract aims to optimize the transportation of the team’s equipment during international Formula 1 competitions.

Atlas Air, the world’s leading operator of Boeing 747 cargo, will be responsible for transporting all the team’s equipment. The partnership provides for two modes of transport: by air for the delivery of critical items such as racing cars, and by sea for secondary equipment.

Ben Fitzgerald, Aston Martin Aramco’s Chief Operating Officer, welcomed this new partnership and detailed the accompanying strategy: “We are delighted to welcome Atlas Air Worldwide as our Official Logistics Partner for the 2025 season. Logistics is the beating heart of a Formula 1 team, and the ability to transport our freight seamlessly across the globe is crucial to our success. Atlas’s leadership position in air logistics and its forward-thinking approach perfectly align with our core values of innovation and excellence.”

Indeed, in Formula 1, performance is not only about the track but also about the ability to move quickly, efficiently, and reliably across the world. Every component and every minute of transport are strategic. A late delivery or a logistical problem can compromise a team’s preparation before a Grand Prix.

On his part, Michael Steen, CEO of Atlas Air, stated: “We are proud to expand our relationship within Formula 1 through our partnership with Aston Martin Aramco. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey alongside an organization that excels globally, driven by precision, performance, and innovation. Both our companies share an unwavering commitment to excellence and a bold vision to push the boundaries of what is possible.”

The Atlas Air logo will make its first appearance on the AMR25 single-seater and on the suits of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, as well as those of the mechanics during the launch of the 2025 season.

This partnership between Aston Martin and Atlas Air is not limited to logistical aspects. The two companies aim to create a broader collaboration focused on innovation and sustainability. They plan to share their expertise to optimize procedures, explore new technological solutions, and develop more environmentally friendly approaches.
