Lance Stroll tries his hand at rallying
To stay in shape behind the wheel, Canadian Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll had fun rallying in Portugal. A memory of Kimi Räikkönen or Robert Kubica?

For Formula 1 drivers, it’s still the winter holidays. With more free time than the rest of the year, it’s an opportunity for them to indulge in a variety of activities. However, since racing is a passion, it’s not uncommon for free time to mean even more racing.
This is the case for Stroll, who had the opportunity to try a Citroën Rally 2 in Portugal. On a dirt road, the Aston Martin driver seemed to be having fun.
Stroll also posted on January 30th on his Instagram account another video where he can be seen doing some drifts in a snowy landscape, alternating between a focused expression and a smile.
The rally is, of course, a very different discipline from Formula 1, however, the boundary between the two is sometimes porous: they are both particularly demanding branches of motorsport. It is not uncommon to see Formula 1 drivers trying rally cars, or rally drivers testing Formula 1 single-seaters.
Some, like Kimi Räikkönen (driving a Citroën) or Robert Kubica, have even committed to competing in an entire rally. Maybe one day Lance Stroll will also embark on a rally career?
