For the 2025 F1 Academy season, Prema Racing has announced the addition of the Dutch driver to its ranks. Nina Gademan has also been selected by the BWT Alpine team, marking her debut in a full season.

Nina Gademan continues to climb the ranks in motorsport. After a promising start in karting, the young Dutch driver is taking a major step forward by joining the F1 Academy in 2025 with the prestigious PREMA team while also joining the Alpine Academy. With an ambitious development program, she is positioning herself as one of the great female hopefuls in motorsport.
A journey marked by success
Revealed by a kart slalom championship title in 2019, Nina Gademan quickly demonstrated her potential by moving to single-seaters. In 2024, she joined the British Formula 4 Championship, where she stood out with rapid progress. Her first rookie podium, achieved at Thruxton during the fourth round, marked a turning point in her season and proved her ability to compete with the best young talents.
Simultaneously, Gademan had the opportunity to participate as a wild card in an F1 Academy round held at the Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands. Facing more experienced drivers, she shone by scoring points in both races, thus confirming her potential on the international scene. A performance that caught the attention of PREMA Racing, one of the most renowned teams in junior series, as well as the Alpine F1 Team development program.
A big opportunity with PREMA and Alpine
Buoyed by these encouraging results, Nina Gademan has been officially selected for the 2025 season of the F1 Academy with PREMA, thus joining the ranks of a team that has trained many drivers who became professionals. Meanwhile, she will benefit from the support of the Alpine Junior Driver Program, a structure that guides talents to the heights of motorsport.
Aware of the opportunity she has been given, the Dutchwoman expresses her enthusiasm and gratitude towards the teams that trust her: « It’s an incredible opportunity to race full-time with PREMA after participating in the F1 Academy race at Zandvoort as a wildcard. Joining such a prestigious team is a dream come true. I am also incredibly proud to represent BWT Alpine Formula One Team in the F1 Academy during the 2025 season. There was a time when I would have never believed this moment would happen, so it’s an immense pride for me. Having the support of a team with such heritage means a lot, and I am deeply grateful for the trust Alpine has placed in me. I can’t wait to make the 2025 season an unforgettable chapter of this adventure. »
A confidence shared by PREMA and Alpine
On their side, the leaders of PREMA and Alpine are full of praise for the young driver. Her potential, commitment, and promising performances have convinced the officials of these two structures to support her in her ascent.
PREMA Racing’s director, Rene Rosin, was particularly impressed by her commitment during her first experience with the team at Zandvoort: « We were really impressed by Nina during her first outing with our team at Zandvoort, and we are happy to welcome her for the entire 2025 season. She demonstrated excellent adaptability and promising race pace. We believe she can be a leading contender in the upcoming series, and we are already on the same wavelength in terms of preparation. We look forward to supporting her throughout this pivotal year for her career. »
Same sentiment from Oliver Oakes, Team Principal of the F1 Academy, who is closely following Gademan’s progress: “We are delighted to welcome Nina into our ranks as a selected driver for the F1 Academy in the 2025 season. It was fantastic to see her debut in single-seaters in 2024 and to see her score points in her first appearance as a guest in the F1 Academy at Zandvoort. Her ease and professional approach impressed us, and we are eager to see what she can accomplish next year. Nina is a fantastic addition to our young drivers’ team, and we are already looking forward to working with her throughout 2025.”
An intensive preparation before the season
Before embarking on her first full campaign in the F1 Academy, Nina Gademan will participate in a winter championship, the Formula Winter Series, with the Hitech GP team. Held on technical and demanding circuits such as Portimão, Valencia, Alcañiz, and Barcelona, this competition will offer her the opportunity to perfect her preparation and accumulate as many miles as possible in a single-seater.
The objective is clear: to be fully ready for the opening of the 2025 F1 Academy season, which will take place in April during the Chinese Grand Prix. With a rigorous development program, a renowned team, and the support of a manufacturer committed to promoting young talent, Nina Gademan stands as one of the great promises of women’s motorsport. A trajectory to follow very closely.
