This grand show was the first time that all the teams presented drivers and cars at the same time. Many personalities were invited, such as Gordon Ramsay, as well as Kane Brown from the group Take That, Texan rapper Machine Gun Kelly, and Brian Tyler, the composer behind the theme song. It was actor and comedian Jack Whitehall who skillfully and humorously hosted this 2-hour show.

No fewer than 15,000 spectators were present in the venue. 7.2 million people watched this show on Formula 1’s YouTube channel, and 1.2 million viewers watched via 42 channels in 37 countries.

F1 estimates that 42% of its audience, approximately 750 million fans, is under 35 years old. The percentage of female supporters has increased from about 37% in 2018 to nearly 41% today.

These figures confirm that Formula 1 is gaining momentum and becoming more popular. Since Liberty Media acquired the rights to F1 in 2017, the sport has continuously increased its popularity. This is mainly thanks to the Netflix series, which has given viewers an exclusive look behind the scenes of the sport, despite its scripted aspect.

The CEO of Formula 1, Stefano Domenicali, does not hide his satisfaction: “What I said at the beginning of the year is exactly what is happening, while everyone thought it was politics. This will certainly continue until the end of 2025. The sporting spectacle is definitely present,” he admitted last August about the fact that the gap between drivers would reduce due to new regulations on budget caps and aerodynamic testing.
