After a success crowned by the prestigious award for the Best Visitor Experience at the Access All Areas Awards in London, the immersive Formula 1 exhibition is coming to the Netherlands. The exhibition will be held in the former factory, now repurposed into an exhibition center, Kromhouthal.

« We are thrilled to welcome the “F1 Exhibition” to the Netherlands, a country that has been at the heart of Formula 1 in recent years and has a long and proud history in our sport. I look forward to visitors and fans from around the world delving deeper into F1 and learning more about the fantastic contribution of the Netherlands to our sport. » Said Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1.

This exhibition is a true tribute to the history of F1 in all its forms. This edition will highlight the Dutch heritage in the discipline. The country has seen 17 drivers race under its flag, including the most famous, four-time world champion Max Verstappen, a true national star.

The journey will begin with Once Upon a Time in Formula 1, a leap into the past through rare photographs, historic cars, and iconic objects. The Design Lab will offer a behind-the-scenes look at an F1 factory, revealing the design secrets of the race cars. From Senna to Fangio, Jacky Ickx, and Laffite, Drivers & Duels will celebrate the legendary drivers and mythical races that have marked the 75-year history of F1.

The exhibition will also explore the darker aspects of the queen of disciplines: Survival, a section dedicated to Romain Grosjean’s accident in Bahrain in 2020 and his perilous rescue. The charred wreckage of his car, displayed in a glass case, serves as a reminder of the constant danger faced by drivers.

The Pit Wall, an immersive installation that will allow visitors to relive the most intense moments in F1 history.

Ewoud van de Kamp, Senior Exhibition Project Manager at Friendly Fire, added: « We are proud to host the F1 exhibition in the Netherlands. This event combines the thrill of Formula 1 with an immersive and innovative exhibition format. We look forward to welcoming fans from the Netherlands and abroad. »
