Verstappen.com Racing, the team created by the four-time world champion Max Verstappen, has unveiled its schedule and drivers for the 2025 season. One of the most important initiatives is the transition of talents from race simulation to real-world GT3 racing.

It was Max Verstappen himself who selected Chris Lulham, one of the most talented drivers from the team Redline (virtual racing team), to accomplish this crucial leap.

The Dutch driver, known for his boundless dedication to racing, launched Verstappen.com Racing in 2022, supported and powered by Red Bull. The team currently competes in GT3 competitions, rallies, and sim racing, featuring seasoned and promising drivers on both real and digital tracks.

This season, for the first time, the team will partner with Aston Martin. Outside of F1 circuits, Max continues to focus on building a foundation to support teams and drivers in their development towards success.

For its debut in GT3, the team of Red Bull F1 driver partners with the 2 Seas Motorsport structure to field an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the Endurance rounds of the GT World Challenge Europe. Unfortunately, Max Verstappen will not be behind the wheel, even though the Dutchman, a four-time F1 world champion, has already tested the car.

The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 will be in the hands of Thierry Vermeulen, Harry King, and Chris Lulham.

Chris Lulham comes from the world of sim racing, specifically from Redline, the team where Max Verstappen drives. The 22-year-old Briton will be racing in parallel in Sprint alongside Thierry Vermeulen.

At 24, Harry King comes from the Asian Le Mans Series where he drove an Oreca 07 for the Pure Rxcing team. The current vice-champion of Porsche Supercup with BWT Lechner Racing is also a former champion of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.

I have always dreamed of supporting young drivers and, for some time now, I have been trying to create the opportunity for a simulation driver to make the step into real racing. With Chris Lulham, who is now promoted from Team Redline Sim Racing to our GT3 Sprint and Endurance Racing, and who will be teammates with Thierry Vermeulen, who has been driving for Verstappen.com Racing for a few years, we are taking on this new challenge, explained Verstappen in a press release.

Lulham will also compete for Emil Frey Racing, driving a Ferrari in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup alongside Vermeulen, who will also be part of the DTM program for this team – for the third consecutive year.

Chris Lulham said: « It’s a really exciting prospect and I can’t wait to get started. We’ve already had a very thorough and busy offseason to prepare for what’s coming. It’s an incredible opportunity and I look forward to making the most of it. »

« We will all race together and work with professional teams that support us in challenging championships. Of course, there is still much to learn to maximize the performance of our cars and drivers. The goal is to be competitive and compete with the best. It’s fantastic that we now allow a racing simulator to compete with experienced drivers. An exciting year awaits us! », Verstappen continued.

While driving with Aston Martin, rumors about Max Verstappen’s potential move to Aston Martin to join Adrian Newey continue to blaze.
