F1 Unveils Its New TV Intro Featuring the 2025 Drivers (video)
Formula 1 returns this weekend and on the eve of the 2025 Australian Grand Prix, which begins on Thursday night into Friday with the first free practice, F1 has unveiled its new opening sequence. Phew, the soundtrack is still the same.
The F1 theme is for some a real madeleine de Proust. This time, Formula 1 keeps its splendid soundtrack composed by Brian Tyler but refreshes the visuals with a new font and a different staging of the drivers.
The opening credits begin with the drivers from the worst team of 2024, Sauber, starting with one of the six rookies of this new season: Gabriele Bortoleto. The credits then proceed team by team until reaching the McLaren drivers and finally ending with the reigning world champion, Max Verstappen.
