Isack Hadjar experienced an embarrassing moment during a demonstration in Tokyo this Wednesday. For this promotional event, the drivers of Red Bull and Racing Bulls took to the streets of the country’s capital to put on a show for the fans. The drivers from both teams performed runs on a temporary urban circuit. The track, particularly winding, included a hairpin turn that proved difficult to master. Hadjar, driving a Racing Bulls single-seater, encountered difficulties approaching this tight turn.

During an attempt, Isack initiated a turn too early, resulting in contact with the curb. The impact damaged the front wing of the car. Although the incident caused some damage, the consequences seem to be minimal, allowing Hadjar to continue the demonstration after a brief pit stop.

It is important to note that it was a demonstration and not an official race, so the incident will have no impact on his preparations for the Japanese Grand Prix this weekend. It wasn’t the start to the week Hadjar had hoped for, but fortunately for the Frenchman, there are no major consequences following this minor collision.

Hadjar will participate in his third Grand Prix this weekend in Japan, joined by his new teammate Liam Lawson.

Lawson made his return to Racing Bulls following difficulties encountered at Red Bull, while Yuki Tsunoda was promoted to become Max Verstappen’s partner in the main team.
