After a Bahrain Grand Prix dominated by Oscar Piastri, F1 continues its first triple-header of the 2025 season on the fast and fearsome Jeddah city circuit. Here's the full TV schedule so you don't miss a thing of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, which will also be broadcast free-to-air in its entirety on Canal+.
Formula 1 continues its first triple-header of the 2025 season with the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this weekend at the Jeddah circuit. This fifth round of the championship promises to be particularly interesting in the context of a tight battle at the top of the standings.
The showdown at the top continues to intensify.
After Oscar Piastri’s dominant victory in Bahrain, the Australian finds himself just three points (74) behind his teammate Lando Norris (77), the championship leader. Max Verstappen is not far behind with 69 points, while George Russell remains in the race with 63 points. This close standing promises a weekend full of suspense.
Among the constructors, McLaren holds a comfortable lead (151 pts), ahead of Mercedes (93) solidly in second place and Red Bull (71), who will be looking to close the gap with the English team. The Woking team naturally arrives as the favorite on this demanding Jeddah track, where every point will matter to narrow or widen the gap.
Demanding weather conditions
As in Bahrain, the heat will be a formidable opponent. The weather conditions are expected to be hot and dry throughout the weekend. Even after sunset, when free practice 2, the qualifications, and the race will take place, temperatures will hover around 30°C.
Sunday’s race day could be particularly challenging, with forecasts predicting one of the hottest days of this early season. These extreme conditions will test not only the drivers but also the cars. Tire management, hydration, and physical endurance will be crucial.
