A first run in challenging conditions. The first minutes of the session took place on a fairly wet track. Despite a temperature barely above 15°C and quite high humidity, the asphalt dried.

The times quickly dropped. After 1 hour and 30 minutes of driving, the #83 Ferrari from the AF Corse team led the pack. However, the gaps were very small. The first nine Hypercars were within less than a second. While Scuderia had a very good first session, it remains threatened by the #12 Cadillac, which secured the third spot.

Note that Alpine found a good cruising rhythm with the sixth-fastest time at just under eight-tenths of a second off the yellow Ferrari. The Peugeot #93 joined the top part of the board, just ahead of the second Alpine. Aston Martin continues its learning process but remains quite distant.

In GT3, the BMW #31 from WRT was the fastest in the session ahead of the Lexus from team Akkodis. A performance that is no longer surprising for the French structure. Even though the Lexus is quite old, it benefits from a BoP that allows it to compete with its rivals.

Porsche cars are experiencing a resurgence. Whether it’s the #92 from the Manthey team or the one from the Iron Dames, they were in the top half of the standings. However, the Aston Martins from Heart of Racing and Racing Spirit of Léman were quite behind.
