After the victory of Oscar Piastri in Saudi Arabia and a short week break, it’s time for the paddock to resume its activity. Meet around the Hard Rock Stadium for the second Sprint weekend of the season. A six-hour time difference separates Paris from Miami, so we will have to wait until the end of the day to follow the performances of the twenty single-seaters.
Theatre of his first victory in F1 last season, Lando Norris will be eager to return to the top step of the podium here this weekend. Especially since the British driver is now outpaced by his teammate, Oscar Piastri, in the drivers’ standings. This 5.410-kilometer track offers interesting overtaking opportunities thanks to its 19 corners, but most importantly its 3 DRS zones spread over each sector. McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, and Max Verstappen will therefore have plenty to entertain. It remains to be seen who will complete the top 10. If Williams seems to be “the best of the rest,” Alpine had a satisfying weekend in Jeddah and will be eager to continue this good momentum.
