One year after the officialization of its partnership with HP, Ferrari unveils a new livery for the 2025 Miami Grand Prix. Unveiled Wednesday in Florida, this special version of the SF-25 celebrates the anniversary of a strategic collaboration launched on this same circuit last year with the American technology giant.

An asymmetrical and original design

The Scuderia innovates visually with an asymmetric livery, a first in its history. While red remains the dominant color, the cars of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton now incorporate touches of electric blue and white, the emblematic colors of HP. These elements are found particularly on the front and rear wings, as well as on the engine cover, while the white rims complete this special look.

Beyond the aesthetics, this coating also reflects a technical collaboration between the engineers at Maranello and the HP teams in Barcelona. The film used on the bodywork is 14% lighter and 17% thinner than previous versions, while offering better heat resistance. Fully recyclable and PVC-free, it is applied using a latest-generation latex technology developed by HP.

For Ferrari, as well as for its title sponsor, Miami holds a special significance. Indeed, it was here that their partnership was launched in 2024. It all began a year ago at the Miami Grand Prix and since then, we have observed how deeply aligned our two companies are on the importance of people in driving innovation, aiming for excellence, and pushing boundaries. This Grand Prix marks the return to the place where our collaboration began, with a celebration of this journey through a bold and asymmetrical new livery, said Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari.

A weekend of stakes for the Scuderia

The Miami Grand Prix is the sixth round of the 2025 championship and the second Sprint weekend of the season. The format leaves little room for error for the teams with only one free practice session before Sprint qualifying on Friday. Ferrari is therefore approaching this event with enhanced preparation as noted by the team’s director, Fred Vasseur: « After several days spent in Maranello analyzing the data collected during the first triple weekend of the season, we are ready to hit the track in Miami. It is a unique race in many ways, and this weekend in Florida also marks the first anniversary of our partnership with our title sponsor, HP. »

With just one hour of track practice, Ferrari increased their prep work beforehand, particularly on the simulator, to approach the weekend with the best possible preparation. “We want to continue the positive momentum observed during the first races, especially in Bahrain and Jeddah,” concluded Vasseur.

Ferrari hopes to continue its momentum from the last two races and make the most of this Sprint weekend in Miami. Leclerc and Hamilton will be wearing suits and helmets matching the car for the occasion. It remains to be seen if this anniversary livery will bring them luck.
