Peugeot to find stability at Spa 6 Hours
The Peugeot 9X8 has potential, but for the moment it's hard to say just how much. For the moment, only one car seems to be able to perform.

Mixed beginnings. In this first part of the season, more was expected from Peugeot. After finishing 2024 with a flourish, the French outfit had raised hopes for great achievements in 2025. But in the end, it was only modest results that were achieved, and by just one car, the #93.
On a very fast circuit, the Lionesses will try to pick up new points to finally fully launch their season. To do some reconnaissance, the tricolor brand had conducted a test there a few weeks ago.
« The Spa-Francorchamps circuit was resurfaced after the 2024 race, so it was very important to run there before this edition of the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps », specifies Olivier Jansonnie, technical director of Peugeot Sport.
The weather conditions were good, unlike those encountered during our testing before Imola, and we were able to complete our entire testing program. It was a very interesting day. I think we are well prepared for the race, provided the weather is favorable.
The six drivers of the team will be in action in the Belgian Ardennes, unlike last year when, due to a date clash with Formula E, the French team had to field two pairs of drivers. Thus, Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne will make his Hypercar debut on his favorite circuit, in the #94.
« Finally a home race in WEC for me. I missed the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps last year due to a date clash with Formula E. I can’t wait to go back, and in a Hypercar, with my fans, my family… Spa is one of my favorite circuits of course, one of the most beautiful circuits in the world. It will be the last race before Le Mans, so Spa is a super important step for all the teams, the Belgian said.
