In the Hypercar category, the Ferraris showed a certain ease in the first free practice session. Alpine set a fine third fastest time.

A hierarchy similar to the race at Imola. Ferrari occupied the top two spots in the first free practice session. The #50 ran more than two-tenths faster than the car from the private team AF Corse. Just behind the Italian cars, the Alpine #36 of Mick Schumacher was only a few thousandths behind the #83.

The French forces made a very solid start on the track. The two Peugeots occupied the fourth and fifth places, just ahead of the BMW #15, which will have a whole crowd supporting it. Even if the brand is German, WRT, which operates the hypercar, is competing at home.

Porsche and Toyota were quite far down in this first testing session. The two brands alternated between the two sections, in the mid-table of the category.

The Aston Martin #009 has apparently found some rhythm with a convincing fourteenth position, ahead of Proton’s private Porsche and even the BMW #20.

GT3 cars

On the GT3 side, the two Lexus from Akkodis ASP once again took the lead roles. The #78 achieved the best mark, while the sister car made the third reference. The Ferrari from Vista AF Corse #21 slipped in between the two machines of Jérôme Policand.

The Aston Martin of Racing Spirit of Léman, with its fifth place, was the most efficient and fastest British car of the session. The Corvettes of TF Sport, which seemed to be the best cars at the beginning of the season, were not at ease, with lap times quite far from what the Lexus achieved.

Among the Iron Dames, it was still difficult to climb into the top ten. The all-female crew finished this session in twelfth position, three places ahead of the other Porsche entered in this category.
