6 Hours of Spa – Free Practice 3: Ferrari back in control
After conceding the fastest time in Free Practice 2 to Porsche, the Scuderia put things right for the third session.

A much calmer session than last night. This Friday morning, the drivers were much more composed. Accidents and incidents on the track were much less frequent.
At the end of this hour of running, the Ferrari #50 reclaimed the best time of the weekend ahead of the surprising Cadillacs, who were having difficulties up until now in this Belgian weekend.
The French teams alternated between good and less good performances. Only the Peugeot #93 and the Alpine #35 were in the top 10 of this session. The A424 was ahead of an impressive Aston Martin #009. The hierarchy was completely turned upside down compared to previous sessions. Therefore, it’s difficult to predict the lineup in advance, even though Ferrari seems slightly superior.
In GT3, practically the same cars occupied the top positions throughout the weekend: the Ferrari #21, the Lexus #87, and the Mustang #88. Racing Spirit of Léman maintained the same pace as at the start of the event with a very impressive fourth place.
As since this Thursday morning, the Corvettes and the Porsches were left behind. Will they improve by the time of the qualifications?
