Jack Hawksworth called in to reinforce Akkodis for the 24 Hours of Le Mans
Jack Hawksworth will replace Ben Barnicoat for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He will drive the Lexus of the French Akkodis ASP team.

For the second year in a row, Jack Hawksworth will play the role of the substitute. In 2024, he had replaced José Maria Lopez, who was urgently called in after Mike Conway’s withdrawal from Toyota. The Akkodis ASP team then enlisted his services to take the wheel of the Lexus GT3.
One year later, the scenario is the same. But the actors change. This time, it is Ben Barnicoat who will not be able to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, having been injured after a mountain bike fall in March.
« I am very excited about returning to Le Mans with the Akkodis ASP team. It’s obviously unfortunate for Ben that he can’t participate, but we all wish him a speedy recovery, and I am ready to join the guys in France and give my best. The team and the car have been very competitive in the early rounds of 2025, and I am really looking forward to trying to win the biggest race of the year with them », rejoiced the main person concerned.
In Le Mans, Jack Hawksworth will be teamed up with the poleman of the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, Finn Gehrsitz, and Arnold Robin in the Akkodis #78.
