Esteban Ocon was out of the running in Spain
Another complicated weekend for Esteban Ocon, who failed to score a single point. The Frenchman seems less at ease than his teammate with this Haas.

He alternates between the good and the less good. At times, Esteban Ocon is capable of achieving great things with his Haas. At other times, this car can plunge him into the depths of the standings.
In Spain, it was the second situation that occurred. Once again eliminated in Q1, the French driver was unable to secure a good position on the starting grid, unlike his teammate who managed to reach Q2.
In the race, the situation did not improve as he finished in a distant sixteenth place. A result that stands out, especially compared to his young teammate. Even though Ollie Bearman did not score points, he seems more comfortable in this single-seater and is more consistent in his results. The points standings do not reflect this factor, but it is indeed a reality.
The Frenchman was even overtaken by Franco Colapinto on the final lap of the Grand Prix, evidence of a lack of performance from this driver-single-seater combination.
