Racing Bulls relies on AI to accelerate F1 development
Faenza-based Racing Bulls has begun harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to accelerate the development of its Formula 1 single-seater for the 2025 season.

Just after the Spanish Grand Prix, the team revealed that they have integrated the cutting-edge AI engineering platform Neural Concept Shape (NCS) into their design and simulation processes.
AI at the Heart of Development
This system works in conjunction with traditional computational fluid dynamics (CFD), allowing engineers to evaluate thousands of design variants in environments simulating real track conditions.
Thanks to Artificial Intelligence, Racing Bulls can explore many more options than before, thus opening the door to new performance gains.
In Formula 1, every millisecond counts, and innovation from the design phase can make the difference between leading the pack or falling behind, said team director Laurent Mekies.
