A mixed start to the qualifiers. Initially, the GT3 and LMP2 took to the track. After a session interrupted by two red flags, only one BMW from the WRT team managed to secure its ticket for the hyperpole.

Ahmad Al-Harthy completed an almost perfect lap to place the #46 in first position, a performance that delighted his boss, Vincent Vosse. In contrast, the result of the sister car, #31, was less satisfying. Yasser Shahin only managed to achieve the sixteenth time, preventing him from joining the second part of qualifying.

A disappointing qualifying for the #31. Otherwise, there was an exceptional lap by Ahmad, simply summarizes Vincent Vosse, team principal of WRT.

A few minutes later, the hypercars hit the track to try, themselves, to take part in the hyperpole, which will take place this Thursday evening.

After a tense start to the session, Dries Vanthoor finally posted a time after repeatedly exceeding the track limits. The Belgian eventually achieved the second-best performance after half an hour of the session. As for Robin Frijns, in the #20, the job was also well done with the eighth position. For Dries and Robin, they perfectly accomplished what was expected of them. It’s a good feeling to know we are in a good position.

Even though the pace was very good on #15, the sister car will have to do even better as it was relegated to nearly a second behind Alex Lynn in the #12 Cadillac.
