24 Hours of Le Mans – Free Practice 4: Ferrari dominates overnight
The #83 Ferrari was fastest in the final free practice session before the race.
The last opportunity. This final night session proved very useful for taking the last benchmarks for night driving in preparation for the race. After a very fast hyperpole, the pace naturally slowed down.
This final hour started poorly for the Mercedes #63, which stopped at the first chicane of the Hunaudières. A slow zone was deployed to remove the Iron Lynx car, which had an accident during the first free practice session yesterday.
The session was very calm. Apart from a few technical issues on the BMW #15 and the United Autosports #23, nothing serious to report. Two slow zones were deployed back to back.
In terms of results, the Ferrari #83 maintained the lead until the end. In LMP2, the #48 from Panis Racing was the fastest. And the #87 from Akkodis ASP in GT3.
