The WEC calendar for 2026 is now known
Like every year, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest holds a press conference to unveil the next calendar. There will once again be eight races in 2026.

You don’t change a winning team. For the 2026 World Championship, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and the FIA have decided not to change anything: there will still be eight races on the calendar.
The Prologue will once again take place in Qatar on March 22 and 23. The Gulf country will host the opening round with the 1,812 km of Qatar on March 28. Imola will take over on April 19. The Spa circuit will, as usual, be positioned just before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, serving as a full-scale test for all competitors. See you on May 9 in the Ardennes.
The main race of the season will be organized on June 13 and 14. The 6 Hours of São Paulo will follow on July 12. We will stay on the American continent for the event in Austin on September 6. Heading to Japan and the Fuji circuit on September 27 before wrapping up the season in Bahrain on November 7.

Bound by a partnership for over a decade, the ACO and IMSA have announced the extension of their strategic alliance until 2032, confirming their mutual desire to build a coherent global framework. This collaboration notably allows three IMSA teams to receive automatic invitations each year to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and for the American event Petit Le Mans to retain its designation.
