Difficult first part of the race for Alpine. The #36 of Fred Makowiecki didn’t have a good pace and lost considerable time in the opening laps of the race. This car was even penalized with a 20-second stop and go for speeding. It dropped back to 14th after serving its penalty.

The sister car was also penalized for the same infraction: the penalty was less severe as its stop and go was only 5 seconds. It was right behind the #36.

At the front of the race, the Porsches continued their recital at the end of the first two hours. The Ferrari #50 managed to interpose itself between #5 and #6. In the GT3 category, Valentin Hasse-Clot did an amazing job driving the Aston Martin of Racing Spirit of Léman. When handing over the #10 car to Derek de Boer, the French team was first in its category.

The race was very clean. There were no major incidents to note. Only a slight collision between the Iron Dames’ Porsche and the #21 Ferrari of Vista AF Corse.
