Antonio Giovinazzi extends his contract with Ferrari
Having joined the Scuderia in 2017, the Italian initialed a new contract with the Italian firm before starting the WEC 6 Hours of São Paulo.

Italian Love. Antonio Giovinazzi and Ferrari, it’s a story that has lasted for eight years and will continue a little longer. The driver has just signed a new contract with the Maranello brand, a sign of the company’s trust in the man from Apulia.
He thus retains his role as an official driver for the team in the world endurance championship, as well as his status as a reserve for the Formula 1 team.
His adventure with the Scuderia in WEC was significant and successful, notably featuring a victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023, marking the brand’s return to Sarthe. The Italian also claimed victory on two other occasions: at the 6 Hours of Imola and Spa in 2025.
Currently leading the drivers’ and constructors’ championships in WEC, Antonio Giovinazzi could further cement his history with the brand founded by Enzo by the end of the year.
Eight years ago, I began my adventure with Ferrari, which for me is much more than a team: it’s a family. Renewing my contract today means continuing a challenge that motivates me every day, in an environment where people, teamwork, and ambition matter. Being an official driver in WEC and the third driver in Formula 1 is a commitment that I am honored and excited to take on. I want to thank Ferrari for its unwavering trust: evolving under the colors of this team is truly special. I can’t wait to write the next chapters of this story, which I will approach with the commitment, passion, and thirst for results that have always driven me, said Antonio Giovinazzi.
