WEC standings: Cadillac leaps forward after the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo
Thanks to its victory and second place, Cadillac climbed to second place in the manufacturers' standings. Ferrari, despite just three points, remains in the lead.

Ferrari can breathe a sigh of relief. Despite very poor results in Brazil, the Scuderia remains firmly anchored at the top of the championship with a 55-point lead over Cadillac, which jumped up the standings thanks to its double victory at the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo.
The American team has overtaken Porsche and Toyota, who achieved average results in this fifth round of the world championship. BMW, with the brake problem on the #15, lost big as only ten points were scored in this race. Vincent Vosse’s team is in fifth place among the manufacturers.
The two French teams follow. Peugeot, despite adding 14 points to its tally, remains in the second-to-last place ahead of Aston Martin, which only has two small points on its scoreboard.
In the driver standings, the crew of Ferrari #51 maintains the lead with a 12-point advantage over that of #83. The three men of Cadillac #12, who won the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, climb to third place with 68 points, but remain quite far from the Scuderia.
Kevin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor, the only two men who have competed all season so far aboard the Porsche #6, continue their comeback. They have overtaken Toyota for fifth place.
