It was a very short and delicate session. As the weather forecasts predicted, the rain has finally arrived at the Le Mans circuit. This is reflected in the lap times, which are much slower than in previous sessions.

All Hypercars are well beyond the 3 minutes 30 mark on their first laps. Despite these challenging conditions, Ferrari is still very comfortable and is starting to go faster and faster. James Calado, onboard car number 51, finishes the session in 3 minutes 30′ 113”, nearly three seconds ahead of the sister car. The Peugeot number 94 completes the top 3, before being overtaken by Sébastien Bourdais.

In LMP2, Nicolas Lapierre, driver of Cool Racing, had a little scare at the beginning of the session. His prototype experienced a small issue, which forced the Frenchman to stop by the side of the track. The car didn’t remain immobilized for long as it quickly got back on track.
