Sébastien Bourdais led Cadillac to the hyperpole
The French driver managed to rank among the top eight in qualifying. The second Cadillac, number 2, is also part of the adventure.
First participation in Le Mans and first hyperpole. Cadillac has already done part of the work. Car number 3, driven by the local hero Sébastien Bourdais, managed to navigate through the traffic and enter the top 8. “I think it was a pretty solid lap,” said the Manceau driver.
He achieved this performance with an almost empty tank and worn-out tires. It was enough to reach the hyperpole, and that’s what we wanted. Overall, it’s a good result for Cadillac, and we’ll see what we can do.
The second official car, number 2, will accompany it. Earl Bamber will be joining the team at 8 PM, this Thursday, June 8th. « “I believe we have all the ingredients to be good and then work on our race pace. We will be ready,” Earl Bamber announces.
The Cadillacs will face off against Toyota, Porsche, and Ferrari.
