Red Bull achieved the fastest pit stop of the season
In addition to dominating the Spanish Grand Prix on the track with Max Verstappen, Red Bull also outperformed its rivals in the pit lane during the race.

Red Bull set the record for the fastest pit stop of the season at the Spanish Grand Prix. The team dominated the race on the track with Max Verstappen, who was uncontested, securing his fifth victory this year. The Dutchman extended his lead in the championship standings to 53 points.
While his teammate, Sergio Perez, missed the podium, the Mexican’s change of the four 18-inch tires lasted only 2.07 seconds. Not only was this pit stop the fastest of the event, but it also set a new season record.
Furthermore, the three fastest pit stops of the race were all performed by Red Bull, with times of 2.07, 2.26, and 2.28 seconds.
The Milton Keynes team has now reached 200 points in the fight for the fastest pit stop award organized by DHL, with Ferrari now at 172 points, while Alpine is far behind in third place with 107 units.
As a reminder, the fastest pit stop in F1 still belongs to Red Bull, who completed a pit stop in 1.82 seconds during the Brazilian Grand Prix in 2019. However, it is important to note that this record was achieved using 13-inch tires.
