Following his fourth win of the season, championship leader Max Verstappen (144 points) has extended his lead over his teammate Sergio Pérez (105 points), who failed to score any points after only managing to finish in 16th place. Fernando Alonso is also capitalizing on this opportunity to close in on the Mexican driver, now just 12 points behind him.

Behind, Lewis Hamilton keeps his 4th place, while George Russell overtakes Carlos Sainz to take the 5th position. Esteban Ocon enters the top 10, moving up from 12th to 9th place thanks to his podium.

On the other hand, Lando Norris loses 2 positions, from 9th to 11th place. His teammate Oscar Piastri gains one, going from 14th to 13th place. Both McLarens finished in the points in Monaco. Further back, Nico Hülkenberg – who received multiple penalties – and Valtteri Bottas each lose one position, settling at 12th and 14th place respectively.

Mercedes gets closer to Aston Martin

Among the constructors, Red Bull (249 points) is also widening the gap with Aston Martin (120 points).

But the big winner among the teams is Mercedes, who is only one length behind Aston Martin (119 points), thanks to Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, both scoring points, while Lance Stroll had to retire. The gap between the German team and Ferrari (90 points) remains stable, while Alpine (35 points) overtakes McLaren (17 points), thanks to Esteban Ocon’s feat (3rd) and Pierre Gasly’s performance (7th). Nothing changes at the bottom of the team standings.
