Russell receives a speeding ticket in the pit lane

During the second free practice session on Friday, George Russell was investigated for exceeding the speed limit in the pit lane.

The FIA wasted no time in judging George Russell and his potential speeding in the pit lane.

For exceeding the speed limit by 0.2 km/h, his team, Mercedes, receives a fine of €100. The driver, on the other hand, receives no warning. So there is no impact regarding George Russell’s speeding. However, it should not be repeated during the weekend.
