Pierre Gasly: “Monaco is the most historic race on the calendar”
A few minutes before the first free practice session of the Monaco Grand Prix, Pierre Gasly granted us a few words in the paddock of the Principality's circuit.

In the heart of the Monaco paddock, Pierre Gasly discusses what Monaco represents for him and what he expects for this weekend.
What does Monaco represent for you in comparison to other races? Why is there so much attraction for this race?
It’s a historic Grand Prix. Surely the most beautiful circuit of the season. For me, it’s almost like a home Grand Prix.
This race is often criticized for its lack of excitement during the race. What does this circuit represent in terms of driving?
What is quite incredible, and the most difficult exercise, is the qualifying that dictates 80% of the race. So it’s true that it’s not the most exciting race of the year, but it’s the most historic and I hope it will go well for us.
