Williams and Gulf are preparing a surprise livery for the Monaco Grand Prix
On the occasion of the Monaco Grand Prix, Williams and oil company Gulf are meeting to announce a special operation just before the first free practice sessions.

Edit Friday 1pm: Williams presented in Monaco 4 different liveries. They will be subject to votes to see a single special Gulf livery used in Singapore, Japan, and Qatar later this season.
At the beginning of the year, during the presentation of the new Williams FW45, we learned about a new partnership between the team based in Grove and the American oil company Gulf. The brand’s boss, known for its azure blue and orange colors, even considered a complete livery on Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant’s cars on a few occasions this season.
Would this 80th edition of the Monaco Grand Prix be one of those occasions to showcase the iconic livery that fans of motor racing dream of? This is at least what two tweets from the Williams team hint at. Indeed, they are inviting everyone to join them next Friday at 1 pm (French time), just half an hour before the start of the first free practice session in the streets of the Principality.
This will not be the first time that the brand, which notably made a name for itself at Le Mans with the legendary Ford GT40, would increase its visibility on the occasion of the Monaco Grand Prix. Two years ago already, as a partner of McLaren, Gulf and the Woking team unveiled a special livery that was highly appreciated by fans and observers.
A little patience then to know what James Vowles and his troops have in store for us…
